I'm trying to code a script, for inclusion into a webpage (HTML), that will enable me to spontaneously create a link to be opened as a new page. The format of the URL is as follows: (URL) two variables are the specific game server and the specific (...) (17 years ago, 4-May-08, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: Lego Serious Play

(...) Is an admin working on intergrating a spell check feature on lugnet? lol - j/k Normally I'd be using FF with it's built-in checker, but...oh, nevermind... (18 years ago, 4-Apr-08, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, FTX)

  (New) Aluminum 2x4 Brick keychains

Several years ago, in a computer controlled machining class, I designed my first clone brick--in aluminum. The bricks are exactly the same size as the offical thing, and work pretty well with each other or with "the leading brand." Mostly it was a (...)   Re: The Brick Testament - David vs His Own People

(...) NO, THIS LOOKS LIKE SHOUTING. AND THIS LOOKS LIKE SHOUTING REALLY LOUD. This just looks like you're sloganeering. (...) Thanks much. I have the three print volumes and a wireless connection for my iBook. If I have time, I'll see if I can (...) (18 years ago, 20-Mar-08, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, FTX)

Re: Tiniest LEGO USB memory stick?

(...) Here's a challenge- a LEGO USB drive that uses a mini-USB connection (found on BlackBerry and other smart phones). Adr. (18 years ago, 9-Mar-08, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Tiniest LEGO USB memory stick?

I could not resist the challenge to try to craft what may be the tiniest LEGO USB memory stick out there. Was perusing the CDN Tire sales ad and found the Gizmo Jr. USB memory keys were on sale.. I took a chance on one and discovered that it fits (...) (18 years ago, 9-Mar-08, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  LEGO USB Drive

I was perusing Engadget and found this LEGO USB drive. Question is - are they REAL LEGO bricks???? May be old news, but cool for the geeks in us nevertheless... (URL) (18 years ago, 2-Mar-08, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: A big ol' garage

(...) This now begs the question, how many ldu's long is a matchbox car, and do they make trailer trucks and fire engines in matchbox scale. The garage looks like a modern firestation garage, after all. (18 years ago, 1-Mar-08, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, FTX)

  Re: A big ol' garage

(...) Well of course you need a chimney- wouldn't be safe to drive that many cars inside without one. Then you need steps, so you can go clean out the soot. (18 years ago, 29-Feb-08, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, FTX)

  A big ol' garage

We own about 300 of the Mega-scale Mega Bloks, which my 4-year-old enjoys, particularly when they can be used to build structures for his Matchbox cars, etc. Anyway, here's a garage that we built and which I rendered in LDraw: (URL) It's larger than (...)   Kazi anyone?

Anyone got familiarity with Kazi, a mainland Chinese clone company? They print their name on the studs, and seem to use both lego and mb clone elements. Just received sets 6004, 5, and 6, Spider Super Man vehicles (translated at chariots by (...) (18 years ago, 22-Feb-08, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Are Brix Blox LEGO-compatible?

(...) Turns out its all in the way the channels on the bottoms of the bricks were made. Best Lock channels come down to the base of the brick, Brix Blox channels are the same width, but stop one lego stud length short of the base of the brick. That (...)   Re: Help please!

(...) Thanks to Daniel B. for informing how to work around this problem. It's a comcast thing. Here's the workaround: Until DNS gets propagated properly, use the work around: edit c:\windows\system32\...\etc\hosts at the bottom add: 64.127.136.213 (...)
