Re: Who is this El Caracho?

(...) Ditto; I waited for all the thumbnails to load because I thought the 1st pics were the real rig for comparison (we're both talking about his Coke truck, right?). These are the same quality (and scale) as the ones from the LEGO theme parks; (...) (24 years ago, 21-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.modelteam)

Re: Who is this El Caracho?

Holy smokes! I saw that entry on the 'recent' board and I didn't even bother to click on the thumbnail because I thought it was just a photo of a real rig! (24 years ago, 21-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.modelteam)

  Who is this El Caracho?

*whimper* I feel so inferior: (URL) Caracho seems to have an infinite supply of LEGO and free time and quite a talent for giant LEGO vehicles. If you're reading this, please reveal yourself! --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (24 years ago, 20-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.modelteam)

  Re: Really cool buses, etc?

(...) I'm pretty happy that it is possible to make better MOC's than LEGO's official model sets. If LEGO's official models were so stunning, I would probably not be so encouraged to build my own models to improve upon them. Perhaps I would even (...) (24 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.modelteam)

Looking for a 5580 "Highway Rig"

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here knows where I could find a Model Team 5580 Highway Rig. If possible I would perfer it be unopened or at least with all the parts, stickers, instructions, etc. Thanks Ben (24 years ago, 8-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.org.ca)

  Really cool buses, etc?

A while back someone posted a link to a great site of MOC's including some elaborate minifig-scale buses and other vehicles. Can anyone point me to the thread or the link? Am I making any sense? Dave! (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.modelteam)

10 wide AM General HMMWV MOC

  RE: 10 wide Hummer MOC

(...) That one's a stroke of genius. Do you design for vroomability? This is the technical term for a model that can be used by a 4 year old for at least 60 seconds with no more than 4 parts coming off :-) Seriously, I think you should send a copy (...)
