I guess you'd have to ask TRU. Could be better profit from MB sets, could be
that TRU has better relations with MB, could be that as of late other
merchandisers have been undercutting TRU on Lego, but not as much on MB. Could
be pressure from MB to win (a-la-sponsorship in some way of the contest or
whatnot). Who knows?
Perhaps if TRU could back up their selections with data-- like which one has
sold the most per shelf-life, which has been the most requested, which has sold
more overall, etc. -- then maybe I'd believe that it wasn't rigged. But as it
stands, I find it hard to believe that those are the balanced top 4 picks. Just
too suspicious looking for my tastes.
