Also, my German publisher recently sent me photocopies of seven press articles
from newspapers and magazines in Germany, coinciding with the August release of
Das 1. Book L., the German edition of Stories from the Book of Genesis.  I've
put scans of these online too:

Süddeutsche Zeitung

Abendzeitung

Wochenendbeilage der Stuttgarter Zeitung

Katholische Nachrichten-Agentur

Katholische Nachrichten-Agentur GmbH

Annabelle

Focus

Unfortunately, I don't know what they say, but my publisher seems to think the
book is going over quite well.  If any German readers would care to confirm
that,  it might ease my mind.  @8^)

I´m not german, so I can´t relate to You all of the intricate punning and
analysis of ironies in the texts, but I will give a sample.
In this one the final paragraph pretty much sums op the tone in most of them:
http://www.thebricktestament.com/press/wochenendbeilage_der_stuttgarter_zeitung_04-08-14.html
"Wen´s ärgert, der werfe den ersten Legostein" meaning:
"He who is angered hereby, he may throw the first brick"
