the opinion of the other AFOLs as to the best way of selling my LEGO.  What I'm
hoping for is something that's a nice balance between easily getting thirty sets
listed and getting a fair price for them.

Right now, I'm going back and forth between choosing eBay or BrickLink, although
I suppose I'd be willing to consider other options for selling.  I like the ease
of being able to add all my sets at once to BrickLink using the "Mass Upload"
option, but I also appreciate the finite time period of an eBay auction.

What's your opinion?  What have you found to be the best balance between
ease-of-use and price when selling LEGO sets?

Steven

When I first started buying old lego sets on ebay I did not know about bricklink
(1999), I spent thousands on ebay and then came to find out that the ones on
bricklink are usually less expensive and have a better discription, usually
without an original photo which can be a problem.  I now have spent thousands on
bricklink.  If you want more money with probably less hassle I would use ebay.
There is not as much competition over a particular set.  I would use bricklink
as a pricing guide on low much to start the auction at.  I sell a lot of non
lego stuff on ebay, mostly now for other people, and find that if you start the
auction on Saturday around 10:00 and space the items out over an hour you have
the best chance of selling them.  Also do not put too many on at one time so
that people have a week to get more money and the market is not saturated with
anyone set.  i usually do 20 or so a week and you also build up a customer base
that way that will check in the next week.
