Hey all.
I just posted a message in .legoland.ca and .market.shopping about the tent
sale going on at Legoland. They're having a 50% off sale from today, 6/24, to
7/4 on a lot of current sets. Anyway, I'm thinking about making some of these
sets available to others who don't live around here, but have very little idea
about how much effort it takes to start such service.
I'm interested in information on the total cost of shipping including
packaging costs, hassles involved with shipping, money collection, and
reasonable fee structures/profit. I'm more interested in doing this as a
service for the Lugnet community rather than just as a way to make money,
though, of course, I don't want to do it for free.
I am only thinking of doing this for those who live in the United States,
since I am completely unaware of what it takes to ship internationally and
don't want to skirt any federal or international laws, statutes, etc. To
those who live outside the US, I apologize.
Any help you can give on these subjects would be great.
