| | Monster Studios line? Umm... Where?
| Hello! Has anybody seen the new Studio (1380, 1381, 1382, 1383) line at Target, Kmart, Wal Mart, Toys R Us or KB Toys or *anywhere* besides official LEGO company stores? I really would like to buy some, but don't know where to go, except Anaheim CA (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

| | Re: Questions about the Lego Store in Chicago
| (...) I've been to this store twice, while on business trips. Mike has it mostly right, though I'm not sure if it qualifies as a full LIC. It carries Scala as well as Bellville. Last time I was there, they had a wide selection of Robotics sensors (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

| | Lots of Lego on Clearance, TRU, Texarkana, TX
| I was visiting Texarkana, TX, this weekend, and there were LOTS of Lego sets in the clearance bins at the TRU (on I-30 next to the mall). They had both unopened sets (including some SW EpII sets, Rock Raiders, couple of town items), and some (...) (22 years ago, 5-Aug-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

| | Re: Construction toys non-returnable?!
| (...) Well, today at Wal-mart the issue was the return of an MB Blok Bots Spy set. This is a $13 item that was missing parts -- I can't imagine why they had to give me grief about it. You'd be surprised how often MB sets are gone through for certain (...) (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Of course the free marketer in me would point out that poor customer service is in part the price we are paying for prefering discount superbox stores over more expensive smaller specialized stores where the staff treats you as a human. | | Re: Train roof 6x6 in new colors?
| If anyone is willing to keep a lookout for specific parts for me, please reply to me directly. I'm looking for 1x14 slotted bricks in green, dark grey, light grey, and tan (heck, ANY color not in a standard set), and 1x2 slotted bricks in dark grey, (...) |
| (URL) proof that there is plenty of strange stuff to be found at small rural wal-marts. These are from '93! I'm thinking about crackin 'em open and making as many things with just these parts as I can. -Jon -- | The Shipyard - (URL) My Lego (...) (22 years ago, 7-Sep-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

| | A great buy
| I just returned from the nearest Zainy Brainy and found the RRHQ. The last one in the store nothing in the back. The MGR said that she can't believe how long it has taken to sell this set. (Yeah sell had to pay full price. Oh well a good parts buy (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

As you can probably see from the WWW page, the boxes are basically designed to do a coarse sort by part size by a sieving (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)
