One note on the $10 gift, it is only valid between May 5-11. Just an
FYI. But .. if you work your cards right, you can get one heck of a
deal.
I bought a little more then I expected tonight. Whoops.
So there is one Gunship and two Slave ones. For what its worth I was
just going to get a Slave and call it good.
Well doing some some Math, that would be $40, so I would not even get the
$10 certificate. Bogus.
So I thought I would add on $20 worth of other sets, specifically the SW
E2 bikes. But bah .. didnt interest me. Still doing the math.
$50+20=$70 - $14 for the 20% discount = $56, and the $10 (which I will use to
buy new running shoes) brings it down to $44 for the slave and two sets.
But the two bikes I was not really interested in. And then I reworked
the math.
Slave + Gunship was $140 (yikes), then minus the 20% which takes it down
$112. Now .. it gets better. I registered for a Kohls card and got
another $11 off. Down to $101. Now throw on two $10 certificates, the
final price (for the Legos) dropped to $81 (of course I was still taxed
on the $101 .. but we all have to pay the man) For what its worth it
worked out like this.
10% off Gunship and get the Slave for free or like finding Legos on sale
for 43% off.
I love Kohls.
