Dacta is the educational division of Lego.  Sales in the USA are now
exclusively handled via partnership with Pitsco, Inc. The partnership is
called Pitsco-Lego Dacta and their website for ordering products is >here • --www.pldstore.com

Nope... I think others might get miffed with your information. See The
Construction Site at: http://www.constructiontoys.com/ for more Dacta. Also,
see lugnet.dacta.

Also, many Dacta sets can be found at local educational supply stores, and
through companies like these:

Okay, so scratch off the word 'Exclusively' from the previous post.  That is
incorrect--my bad...

While there are other merchants and suppliers who deal in Dacta products,
Pitsco-Lego Dacta is a partnership that is more involved than simply the
re-selling of merchandise.  At one time (5 years ago or so) there were at least
four educational suppliers who had a strong relationship with Lego Dacta;
Pitsco-Lego Dacta appears to be the only partnership-type deal left.

As for The Construction Site, this is a brick-and-mortar retailer that has made
special arrangements with TLC/Lego Systems, Inc to sell products not available
to other Lego toy retailers--like Dacta and a larger assortment of Train sets.
Other people know more about this arrangement than I do, namely Todd Lehman.
Online ordering of Lego or Dacta is not allowed through
http://www.constructiontoys.com/ either as part of their arrangements with TLC.

?
I can order Dacta sets from their site just fine.  I wonder what the details
of this arrangement they (The Construction Site) have with TLG?  Their
prices and shipping costs are slightly better than Pitsco, by the way.

I checked the availability of Dacta merchandise at the other sites you listed
and after a quick scan, it appears that these dealers do not carry the full,
complete line of current Dacta items.  Pitsco does have the full assortment.

The original post by Jason simply aksed where to get Dacta stuff.  The best
place is http://www.pldstore.com

Agreed - with selection as the criterium.

Naturally Jason could have found this himself if he checked the lugnet.datca
page --> http://news.lugnet.com/dacta/
