KB Toy Works (dunno about the KB Toy Stores or Liquidators) is having a 20%
off sale. Considering they mark up their prices by 10-20%, that ain't
saying much.
BUT....there is one of those cardboard displays from Lego for the Castle
sets with the chrome pieces. And on the display is clearly listed the price
of the sets: $4.99. All the chrome sets were hand-marked down to $4.99 from
the normal over-marked $5.99. The sets ring up at $3.99.
There is a bit of bad news in this: if you are thinking of running down to
the San Dimas or Chino stores in SoCal looking for these sets, don't. Some
slime wiped them out. ;-)
