I found some deals at a local Target that might make your head spin, or
might not because after the X-mas clearance they sound rather bland. Keep
in mind that these are NOT markdowns, but regular Target prices (maybe
matched?).
-3409 Championship Challenge $29.99 (down from $49.99)-
-5975 T-Rex Transport $29.99 (down from $49.99)-
-5955 All Terrain Trapper $23.99 (down from $29.99)-
-6575 Polar Base $29.99 (down from $59.99!?!?!?!!!!!)-
There may be others, but those were the notables.
Strangely enough, just around the corner is a Toys R Us with OLD sets
(1995!?) that have NOT been marked down. Why is anyone's guess, I just
think they are LAZY!
Here are the notables:
-6195 Neptune Discovery Lab (still $89.99)-
-6175 Crystal Explorer Sub (still $34.99)-
-6155 Deep Sea Predator (TONS still $19.99)-
-1782 Discovery Station (TONS still $49.99)-
-6441 Deep Reef Refuge (still $59.99 chances are some came from KB)-
-6558 Shark Cage Cove (still $29.99)-
-6497 Twisted Time Train (still $39.99)-
I mean COME ON PEOPLE, GET RID OF THEM!! I just want the manager to let me
clearnce them and MOVE 'EM OUT. I'd help, but we the LEGO buying public
move on if things is old/ we have one already/ or got them cheaper elsewhere.
Me, I'm clearin' out Target.
Bye :o)

| I totally agree about TRU, I mean what is their deal?? Why keep the full retail prices? I just do not get it. I mean when my employee discount card for them was still active, it was a TAD better (TRU emp. discount = 10%) :( but now, after 2 months (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)
