Hey,
I have been doing a lot of bargain shopping the last few weeks, and here is
a report of most of what I found. All of these stores were in SC, USA:
K-Mart:
I had more luck here than anywhere else. I pillaged over a half dozen
K-Marts. Prices and availability were fairly inconsistent from store to
store, and the prices marked were usually higher than the prices that rang
up, but here is what I found, as best as I can remember (it was a lot):
4805 Ninja Knights - $1.00 - I picked up about 10. Several stores had
several copies left, and they rang up this price at all of the stores I
checked it on.
8247 Road Rebel - $1.00 - I picked up about 10.
1853 Hypno Cruiser (with storage bucket) - $4.00 - Picked up the only 2 I saw.
6499 Time Tunnelator (with time machine) - $2.00 - Picked up 4. Only one
store had them, and I left a couple there.
5928 Bi-Wing Baron - $1.00 - Picked up the only 2 I saw.
8226 Mud Masher - $2.00 - Grabbed the only 4 I saw.
6599 Shark Attack - $2.00 - One store had 5. I grabbed them all.
6433 Coast Watch - $7.00 - Several stores had them. I got 2.
6109 Sea Creeper (with giant ray) - $1.00 - Got the only one I found.
8252 Beach Buster - $10.00 - Item wasn't in store database, so they gave it
to me for that price.
2152 Robo Raptor - $1.00 - Also wasn't in the database, but at a different
store.
2151 Robo Raider - $2.00 - Found one.
6007 Bat Lord - $1.00 - Got the only one I found.
6110 Solo Sub - $1.00?
6716 Weapons Wagon - $4.00? - Found one.
5936 Spider's Secret - $2.00 - Found two.
6407 Fire Chief - $0.50?
6836 V-Wing Fighter - $1.00?
6837 Cosmic Creeper - $1.00? - Got 2.
8246 Hydro Racer - $1.00 - I got 4. There were more.
6903 Bug Blaster - $0.50? - I got 2.
5988 Pharaoh's Forbidden Ruins - $32.00 - Got one of the 2 I saw.
5978 Sphynx Secret Surprise - $$18.00? - Got 1
5958 Mummy's Tomb - $18.00 - Didn't get any. Got one in the $30 value pack
they have though.
6107 Recon Ray - $1.00 - Got 1. This one was different prices at different
stores.
6033 Treasure Transport - $1.00 - Got the only one I saw.
5938 Oasis Ambush - $1.00? - Snatched up the only one I saw.
3050 Shanghai Surprise - $2.00 - Nabbed two.
4980 Tunnel Transport - $30.00
3052 Ninja' Fire Fortress - $18.00
4293 Classic Value Pack - $18.00
Tuesday Morning:
I hit the Tuesday Morning sale on Wednesday too. Most of the sets seemed to
be non-US. This is a list of most of what I bought, but they had some other
stuff too. Some of what I got will be repeats of the other post on this,
but I'll still list them for completeness:

Best Buy:
Yes, Best Buy, the electronics store. They carry Mindstorms stuff, and they
had some good deals:
9732 Extreme Creatures - $10.00 - It was marked $20.
9730 Robo Sports - $10.00 - Also marked $20.
9735 Robotics Discovery Set - $80.00
9738 Droid Development Kit - $50.00
KB Toys:
6979 Interstellar Star Fighter - 32.00?
Toys R Us:
3038 Spider Slayer - $15.00
8257 Cyber Strikers - $19.00
4561 Railway Express - $90.00 - Marked down to $100 + used $10 flyer coupon.
Sorry this post was so long. This is my first one. I have been wanting to
post for a while, but I just learned that I can without being a member, so I
had a lot to report. I just haven't gotten around to getting a membership
yet, but I will. BTW, thank you to all who have been posting their shopping
news here. You have helped me out tremendously over the past few months
since I found it, and I hope this post will help return the favor to some of
you. One last thing - I just went to TRU last night and they had a bunch of
the brand new sets out. I will post another one here in a little while
reporting on that if you are interested in reading it.
