Saturday I found a 6765 Gold City Junction on clearance for $20. I hemmed and
hawed about it because I told myself that I wouldn't spend any more money on
Lego for a very long time. I then noticed another Gold City Junction, also on
clearance, but the front lid was ripped off. Always an opportunist, I tracked
down the manager, and he agreed to give it to me for $15. S'okay. When I check
out, the register rings it up as five dollas. Doubletake! Hey, can you hold
that for me? I'll be right back! I went and grabbed the other Gold City
Junction, and despite being marked down to $20, it rang up as $5 as well. Yes,
I felt pretty smug about all this. These are the moments I live for. Thank
you, Clueless K-Mart.
