Hi guys, gotta be brief but I found a big load of good-stuff in Brookline, MA
today. I only bought one set but I'll be happy to go back and pick up stuff if
anyone's interested.
I found the most stuff at this store called 'Learning Express', near Coolidge
Corner, on Beacon St.
Prices are before tax. They are above MSRP but for some of these sets that's
worth it. I rounded up a few cents to save time.

? = I didn't check

Set # - price in USD - quantity
6190 - 57 - 3
6204 - 8 - 15
6232 - 4 - 5
6199 - 110 - 2
6982 - 90 - 3
6556 - 10 - 5
2153 - 35 - 9
2152 - 25 - 6
6818 - 4 - 12
697 - 6 - 3
8448 - 130 - ?
6584 - ? - ?
6977 - ? - ?
7181 - 100 - 1
7184 - 70 - 2
3409 - ? - ?
3403 - ? - ?
3408 - ? - ?
3411 (comes with kid-sized soccer ball) - ? - ?
There were more SW sets, and a few more insectoids, but I didn't bother with
those. ('specially not with the SW after the Ames sale!!)

Another store I checked was the one next to 'the Butcherie' on Harvard St. - I
can never remember the name. It's also above MSRP usually, but I found a 4548
(only one!) there. It was marked $42, but battered so the clerk said she could
take 20% off. I can go back there too.

The Harvard St. KB was comletely lego-less, only MB. Ugh.

Like I said, LMK if you want me to get anything. I'd have to take the T
(subway) over there, and it's a 30 minute drive from my house, but from next
monday I'm out of school so it shouldn't be a problem. OTOH, if someone in the
Bos. area with a car is willing to pick them up for you, that should be more
reasonable.

HTH!

(...) Oh, I forgot - I also found some weird duplo sets, I haven't heard of them before. They were clearly marked LEGO, with the red logo and all. They were called "Action Wheelers", and were also marked 'light and sound'. The two sets I saw were (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.duplo)

(...) Alright, I went there today again after receiving a few requests for these two sets. I picked up 19 6204s (apparently I hadn't counted them all) and 4 6232s, left one there if anyone's interested. The workers there were very nice, they had (...)
