To All,
I was running around last night with my fiancee, and we stopped by
Walmart, where she wanted to get some stuff. Well, I ventured to the toy
aisle with her, looking for the Slave 1, and found one! :) We were
leaving, and I saw the clearance aisle, and thought I would check it
out. What a find! I found all these sets:
6434 - Roadside Repair - 25.00 (49.99)
5956 - Air Zeppelin - 8.00 (20.00?)
5958 - Mummy's Tomb - 13.00 (30.00)
5988 - Pharaoh's Forbidden Runs - 45.00 (79.99)
5978 - Sphynx Secret Surprise - 22.00 (50.00)
Good deals, good parts. I usually don't go to Walmart's that often, I am
a Meijer fan myself, but it was definitely worthwhile last night! :)
The other funny thing is I did not have a cart, so I carried all of
these by myself, and got a lot of strange looks, it was really crowded
last night (U of M brats clogging up all the stores! :( ), and I got to
a lane, and this one older lady said, "Someone must like LEGO's." Groan.
"Yes, they are all clearance, from 50-70% off." "Really?" I did not tell
here I cleared most of them out. They had those awful Cyber slammers or
whatever (The TECHNIC sets with the Borg in them, which I could not buy,
and the awful 6332 Town Junior Police stations for 45.00 instead of
60.00) The people behind me were talking about my LEGO stuff on the
belt, but I am to the point of not caring anymore, my money, my find,
more LEGO for me! :)
Another funny thing was my Fiancee Lynn was happy I was buying them for
clearance, which is always a bonus for me. I usually don't involve her
too much in LEGO buying as of yet.

| Here's a few more Wal-Mart things I noticed on my recent trips. Beware that some of these items are not marked as clearance. Once you scan them, the low price is revealed.
