  What happened to Harry Potter
 
So, what is the speculation on what happened to Harry Potter sets? I was expecting large numbers of them to appear on retail shelves when the Goblet of Fire was released. My actual experiece was: KMART - small quantities of the Mermaid set Toys R Us (...) (19 years ago, 19-Dec-05, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.harrypotter)

Kmart Shelf signage (adjacent to 8874/8875 and 7475) indicated that Lego sets in the $19.99--$24.99 price range were on sale for $14.99. The only such set I scanned, 4762, was still at $19.99.
