OK, heres my FOTW:
While wondering thru a WM supercenter this afternoon, I spied a purple
lego box way up high. [ Ray waits several tense minutes for a clerk to
show up with a ladder ] Turned out to be a 6296 Shipwreck Island at
full price (25.97). I bought it anyway since I did not have one.

| I got a 8277 Giant Model Set for $18.97 (CAD) at my local Walmart last night. bounced through a few more Walmarts today, but didn't see any more of the 8277s. But Walmart Canada tends to do sales across the board, so you might want to check your (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.ca)
