I checked the Payless by the Mall and found no LEGO items at all. I have this
weekend off, so I may run down to Crawfordsville to take a look.
Last Saturday (Oct. 30) I bought three 4562's and left 2 at the Walgreens on
Sagamore in West Lafayette. Then I bought three and left one at the Walgreens
on 18th street & Main. An employee at the one on the West side told me that
they might get more in last Wednesday. When I checked both Walgreens again last
night (Nov. 4), both were out of 4562's.
Originally it looked like each Walgreens store only had 1 tray with 6 boxes
each, making the total 4562 count for the Lafayette area 12. I bought 6, and
you bought 2. That means that we AFOL's bought 67% of the 4562 stock. Plus
that assumes that all of the other 4 were bought by kids or parents for kids.
And LEGO thinks we make up less that 5% of their market?
I'll keep checking the Walgreens and post here or email you if I find that
they've restocked.
