I just have a question and think that Lugnet should start the conversation. I
got off the phone with SAH and asked them about my order. They said that it was
shipped and I should have my 2 cargo ships by Friday. I asked them how many they
had left. She informed me that they were going fast. She also mentioned that a
person called in just before I did that wanted to order 1000 of these sets. Now
that is 7400. It got me thinking. Should Lego limit how many sets of a certain
type a person can buy or limit how many sets a credit card can order?

If this person got his or her order for 7400. We can assume that these sets will
be sold online for more then twice the normal price or even more.

What are your thoughts?
Jake, any thoughts?

Larry

(...) I don't understand what you are talking about. 7400 what? Dollars? Or did you mean only 100 sets? If you are talking about $$$, then I think you meant $75,000. JOHN (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.market.shopping, FTX)

(...) She mentioned that a person wanted to buy 1000 copies. Did she say whether they got that many? (...) Well they did say there was a limit of 5 copies for the cargo ship and I think it was a good idea. In this case... with the limited quantity. (...)
