Not that it is any surprise to AFsOL, but The Boston Globe today has an
investigative report on Kohl's (which is relatively new to MA), where they
conclude there is systematic violation of the state's regulations on what
"Sale" means, and more specifically, what you can claim is a sale in
advertising and signage.
I have always found Kohl's LEGO sales to be not worth the energy. But it
looks like it is across the board policy.
What the Globe didn't do, which I think they should have, is compare Kohl's
prices to other stores that sell identical items. That would have been more
enlightening.
