Re: Lego kiosk spotted in PA

(...) Hello all! I work for a Waldenbooks in the Baltimore area, and I helped set up and have since spent a lot of my time working at the LEGO kiosk. Yes, the prices are all marked up (a $50 set becomes $55, etc.), and the worst part is no employee (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Potomac Mills Outlet

(...) A friend of mine just got back from Legoland. He said the selection is pretty much the same, the only difference being the bricks-by-the-pound at Legoland. Still, there are usually some good sales, and the staff (well, the assistant manager at (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Potomac Mills Outlet

I will be in the Washington DC area for a few short days. Is a side trip to the Lego outlet store at Potomac Mills worth the time and effort? Especially since I live near Legoland and can shop there. Thanks for any input. (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Trains arrive at Target in SoCal

Sorry... it is in the Lugnet set guide already and the picture shows a green car. Sorry to get your hopes up. I went home thinking it was a new color, and I even have the green one on my desk. (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Trains arrive at Target in SoCal

(...) If this is actually the green passenger coach redone in blue that is HIGHLY significant because it means that train doors, wide train windows and narrow train windows are available IN THE SAME COLOR all at the same time. When's the last time (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.trains)

Re: Trains arrive at Target in SoCal

I didn't look too long but I think it is a lot like the green one we have now with 2x3 windows, only blue. Jonathan Lopes hates blue windows so this should be worth a snort. (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Trains arrive at Target in SoCal

(...) Is it a blue version of the current MOT passenger car (i.e. with 1x2x3 train windows) or a new car (with 1x4x3 train windows)? Frank (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)
