If he's willing to make a big drive, I'd recommend going to the Lego Outlet store in Virginia (one state up) and asking, pretty please, if there are any damaged 7181s or 7191s in the back. I think you can definately count on seeing these in stores. The masks are being marketed as the main collectability portion of the line. This is a great idea. It would be fun to build a set knowing that everyone else was making one too.
