I found the large tub Creator set today at Shopko, 600+ pieces. It was $17.99, but it was on sale. There were lots of plates and a decent variety of parts. (...) Agreed. TLC has a soft spot for the UN, I think. They let the UN do the refugee posters using minifig images, and they hardly ever let ANYONE use minifig images, even other charities. There was a news article in the NY Times today that Zany Brainy has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. I don't know much about this stuff but I tthink it means that, while they are in no imminent danger of shutting down, they get shielded a (...)
