I guess I didn't quite understand the clerk. Here's the official info from
the usps site:


Delivery Confirmation

Provides information about the date and time an article was delivered,
and if delivery was attempted but not successful, the date and time
of the delivery attempt. Delivery confirmation is available at the
time of mailing only. No record is kept at the office of mailing.
Delivery information is available through the USPS internet site.

the cost is .35 ( I did get something right)

Pretty soon UPS and FedEx will either have to lower their prices to compete with USPS or come up with some better scheme... Carrie (...) (25 years ago, 29-Apr-99, to lugnet.market.shipping)

I mailed out some packages yesterday and the clerk told me about a new feature. For .35 you can have a tracking sticker attatched to your package. It works by calling a phone number and puching in your tracking number, and then you would find out (...) (26 years ago, 17-Mar-99, to lugnet.market.shipping)
