Re: Question on consumer affairs shipping time and others...

(...) I usually get replacements from them in 3-4 days... They proably sent you the whole fig... And I don't think it's a big deal for them - as long as the piece you're looking for is current (still in production) and you don't ask for 30 of them (...)   Question on consumer affairs shipping time and others...

I am wondering about something. I just ordered a replacement part from consumer affairs. How long is shipping of these pieces? I found in a flash speeder that I was assembling last night that the minifig's torso had cracks almost to the leg line (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shipping, lugnet.general)

  SHIPPING COSTS

Hi Legofans, I receive, each day, orders from different countries to buy lego, or other toys. I know the great problem to buy is costshipping. However, several times, I reduced costshipping, because DYA negociated new agreement with french postal (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  Re: DYA...

(...) I was at kbkids.com the today and saw that they have 6097 for $39.95. I know this is more expensive than at DYA but you might save on shipping. John Gramley (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  Re: DYA...

(...) When you fill up the forms at their pages for on-line ordering, they show you the total amount, including shipment at a stage while your order still not confirmed. Just like amazon.com. And I'm sure they ship to Canada, since they even ship (...) (25 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: sign up for $20 free postage

(...) I hear you. As I begin work on my own database-driven parts sale site I am thinking more and more that cutting time at the shipping end is going to seem just as important as automating ordering. (25 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  DYA...

Can anyone tell me if DYA ships to Canada (I presume they do... They must!)? Also, if they do, what kind of shipping charges do they usually hit you with? There are some cheap "Night Lord's Castle's" (6097) that need to be ordered by me <g> Amy info (...) (25 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: sign up for $20 free postage

(...) Mike, It's all about time for me. The labels run a couple of three cents apiece, but I can be in and out of PO in about 30 seconds with a tub full of pre-paid packages vs. five or ten minutes waiting in line, getting everything weighed, etc. (...)   Re: sign up for $20 free postage

(...) How much are you paying for those labels and do you actually save money on postage in the end or do you figure you're saving money by saving time? (25 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: sign up for $20 free postage

(...) This annoys me every time I mail to someone in Canada. The even sillier thing is that for packages under 100g it's cheapest to Europe/Asia ($2.30), then to teh US ($3.85), then within Canada ($4.15). Kevin (25 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shipping)
