| Yesterday, I considered making a withdrawl from my paypal account for the first time. The exchange rate from $US to $CDN is disappointing. They brag about how great their rates were in October 2001: "PayPal's Improved Canadian Exchange Rate PayPal (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.services, lugnet.loc.ca)

| (...) Yes but it may be a bigger or smaller rip than the competition... can you easily determine what the C2it or WU rates are for the same date as the 1.4941 rate you quote? | (...) grumble... I guess you're right. It just makes me crusty, the way they grab an extra nickel or dime at every turn. It sure would be nice to skim 3% off the conversion rate when I buy from shop.lego.com. 2.9% + 30¢ to receive, plus 1% for (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.services, lugnet.loc.ca)
