Hi Folks,
you can now input your wanted lists into Brickbay. This service is free and
is available to all existing members, both buyers and sellers. If you're not
registered yet and like to add items that you want, you can register here:
http://www.brickbay.com/login.asp?action=sell
The registration is there to let you create a username/password and keep your
address on file.
To add items into your wanted list, go into myBrickbay. You can select the
parts/sets that you're looking for that are currently defined on the site.
There are 1,328 parts but only 84 sets defined there (more will be added
later).
You will be asked to input the maximum price you're willing to pay per
piece/set and the minimum quantity desired. When these items become available
and meet your criteria, you'll receive a notification by e-mail (if the seller
chooses to notify you.) If the item that matches your criteria is already
listed on the site, you'll get a listing of all those items on the "Building
Wanted List verification screen" along with a link to each store that has it
and under what category you can find it.
When sellers add items into their inventory and the item is on your wanted
list and meets your criteria, the seller will get a list of members that are
looking for that specific item along with a checkbox next to each user that
will notify that user only when the seller doesn't uncheck it.
