Re: using member pages that are associated with groups

(...) The person who "edits" the main market services page could put something on the page to link to it, right? (it's not ready to be linked to, this is more of a hypothetical at this point until I am ready to do something fancy) Who is that (...)   Re: using member pages that are associated with groups

(...) For now (until automatic indexing is implemented), you'll need to link specifically to the page from some other page, but Yah, feel free to do that -- it's part of the defined design... --Todd (24 years ago, 10-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.services, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: using member pages that are associated with groups

(...) They're not old. These new pages are an addition rather than a replacement. There are loose ends to tie up with regard to automatic linking of the two spheres of pages together, with indexing, etc. --Todd (24 years ago, 10-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.services, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: using member pages that are associated with groups

(...) You can always point them there. :) It'd be nice if lugnet could work by easier-to-remember names rather than UIDs. I see how that could be a lot more complicated, but still.... Todd, what's going to happen to the old member pages? It'd be (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.services, lugnet.admin.general)

Factoring: Another "Paper Hiatus" coming up

OK, I am back from Seattle, and I have processed all the paper that was here at my house. However, early tomorrow morning, I am off to Vegas for a week (still hoping to fest with someone, but no LV people have pinged me) to do SAPphire Vegas, then (...)   Re: A _real_ currency converter!

(...) Isnt the real issue what you are going to actually get in your gruby hands when you walk into a bank to exchange it? This is typically the tourist rate, as per Thomas Cook. So you give the guy it at $1.50, but only actually get $1.48. Roll on (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.services)

  Re: A _real_ currency converter!

(...) TC use the tourist rate. People who buy from me know I use the rate the BBC quote as this is the _actual_ rate (updated evey 15 minutes). See: (URL) now it gives $1.509 for every £1. TC is only $1.48 for every £1. There are a few Currency (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.services)

Re: LEGO sellers with high reccomendations

Uncledan is a local that I deal with in person from time to time (will be doing so this weekend), and has now started showing up at BayLUG meetings. DanV is definitely highly recommended.
