  possibly rare closed Legos
 
I am temporarily here in Saudi Arabia and I ran into a "Lego Store" It is just called that. Its stock is actually only about 5% Lego items. But since this is Saudi some of the sets are very old (late 70's & 80's). I was wondering if anyone knew a (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(...) just (...) Out of curiousity, is this store in Al-Khobar? I lived in Dhahran for several years in the 80's and there was a store that sounds like what you describe in the nearby town of Al-Khobar. It was widely known as the Lego Store among (...) Be very careful! There was recently an auction on eBay that concerned a very sought after castle. I recall someone mentioning the set was purchased in Saudi Arabia. There was much discussion over if the set was authentic or a clone. I never did find (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

I'd say get the 8888 - it's popular, and very easy to pack ;-) 277 is a winner - red minifig heads! 212 has some nice older parts - white macaronis, rounded plates 222 - if this is the idea book, get it, it packs easy 208 - neat historical set - (...)
