Well, there are at least semi-professional resellers. At least two of
the people I used to buy lots of LEGO bits from off eBay were not really
collectors. They were stay at home moms. They did have some interest in
LEGO for their children, but both had fairly young children. Of course
they also primarily dealt in parts. Another seller sold many almost new
parts (I refrain from saying new because someone in the household smokes
like a chimney). Another seller I bought a lot of stuff from is part
owner of a trading card and comic store, and he sold complete sets.
