I think you've answered your own question. Gene's a trustworthy person.
If you haven't contacted him personally I suggest you do so. I would hope you
would have done that before potentially smearing his name publicly.
Believe it or not, sometimes life intrudes on our shared hobby. I'm a week
behind in getting packages sent out due to some family medical problems but I
haven't received any complaints. Maybe Gene had something come up too.
