I'm more than familiar with the idea of profiteering having weathered my
daughter's TY Beany Baby phase, and I understand the concept that if someone
didn't buy up all of those sets and then hold back until the market was ready
in such a way that people who weren't interested when the item was originally
for sale still have access to a "new" set, I just really wish that TLG would
take the hint and return the market price of some of these sets (especially
trains) to some measure of normalcy by reissuing old lines.
