BAYLIT PR here. :^}
If there's something you see on BAYLIT that you want and the price seems high,
please point out your rational and I'll be glad to deal with you.
I've inventoried over 100 sets and have put nearly 1000 copies of them into my
database. (Not a insignificant amount of effort) So, I have some measure of
familiarity with supply, rarity, and availability - But demand fluctuates from
day to day, look at EBAY - prices fluctuate rather significantly over time.
I suppose a price discussion should find another home in LUGNET, but I'll take
a minute to point out as Tom, John, and others have noted, I do try and go out
of my way to find and inventory for sale as wide a variety of parts as
possible. (The latest are Pink parts. Probably from the same set the last
Auczilla split up)
I have even dealt price with a number of LUGNET regulars, whom I shall leave
nameless.
As long as I'm posting, I guess I can point out 3 things about BAYLIT.
1) Most parts sell at any price, just not very often
2) I've poured nearly the entire profits from BAYLIT back into it to increase
inventory - and thus availability (and the small remainder to fuel my project,
currently in the design stage) I even spent my summer vacation finding more
sets to add into BAYLIT
3) I am in no real hurry to sell parts. No one selling parts should be unless
since demand isn't infinite. I'm actually as busy with orders as I can handle.
You should note I don't post on RTL and posted on LUGNET only twice(?) many
months ago.
4) Customer service is what I strive for. And I hope that those who have used
BAYLIT have been completely satisfied (although I do run out of parts at times)
BTW - I hear you. I'll fix the windows pricing problem.
Regards,
-Jon (BAYLIT: Purchasing, Warehousing, Packaging, and PR!)

| Oh Jon, I really didn't mean to make it sound like I was downgrading your service or your pricing strategies. I'm sorry if it sounded that way. I was just passing info along that I had been told from another. You provide a most valued service to the (...) (25 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
