Howdy-
Ive been out of the LEGO loop for a while & want to turn some of my old sets
into cash. Whats the recommended outlet for doing so these days...eBay or
another source? Is there any accepted pricing guide to use as a rule of thumb
for set values? Pretty much all of these sets are in great shape, include
instructions, & dont have boxes.
I made a list of my sets that I figured would be worth more & did some rough
searching on eBay for completed & in-process auctions & compiled some rough
values for what the sets seem to be worth, so I can focus my efforts on the
ones that make the most sense. If anybody has any feedback on how reasonable
these prices seem, or wants to make me an offer, Id very much appreciate a
quick e-mail to dante@infernolab.com.
Thank you very much!

Hi Jason,
Before you list on eBay or even agree to sell your sets privately I suggest you
investigate AuctionBrick
and BrickLink.
I think some of your sets are undervalued and if you want to take the time to do
the research you can get more for them. For instance the price guide for
the London Bus on
BrickLink shows its worth way more than $7. In addition both AuctionBrick and
BrickLink are run by people in the LEGO community, cost less than eBay to sell
on, have auctions for if you dont want to set a fixed price, and you are more
likely to sell your LEGO to appreciative AFOLs! :-)
Hope that helps some--
