I have a 36,000+ part Lego collection that I would like to offer up for sale.

The collection is completely sorted and cataloged using Bob Kojima's Parts
Catalog program.  The parts can be seen on Peeron.com using the following
username and password:

Select View/Edit "My Parts" list and then click on "Loose parts" on the
following page.

Parts are presorted into 26 Plano 3700 containers for specialty parts, 10 1.5
gallon Rubbermaid containers for plates/misc. parts, and two 58 qt. tubs filled
with basic bricks.

The collection has been inventoried in a highly detailed way.  Each Plano
container has a seperate inventory file which was then incorporated into the
larger complete inventory file, for instance.  If you would like to see the
parts breakdown in this way, please let me know and I will send you the files).

Not inventoried, but included in this sale are 3 additional Plano 3700
containers with minifigs parts (hundreds of minnifigs).

Pictures of the collection are available upon request.

I think this sale is unique because it offers a large, quality collection at a
really good price (less than .04/brick).  Also, it is better organized than most
collections you are like to come across for sale.

The downside is transport, of course.  I would suggest hand delivery of the
collection (due to its size).  For this purpose, I can meet a buyer anywhere
within a two hour's driving radius of Charlotte, North Carolina.  I am willing
to ship the collection as well.  Details of shipping would have to be worked out
(it would be very expensive).

If interested, please e-mail me at either of the following e-mail addresses:

thomasmain@myrealbox.com
main@appstate.edu

Thanks for looking.

(...) I have posted pictures of the collection at: (URL) photographing the extent of the collection, I have decided that it is impracticle to ship it and am only offering it for delivery in the Charlotte, NC region (and within a reasonabe radius).
