About a month ago I recall that the NTTP portion of Lugnet was having
problems. During this time no one who uses a newsreader was able to post
and it seemed to me that Lugnet turned into a ghost town for a day or two.
The event seemed to reveal that many if not most of the posters on Lugnet
use a newsreader.
I suppose I'm butting in here but I honestly believe that the core of your
argument is flawed due to this. I do agree that multiple posts in quick
succession can be annoying. I don't however believe that just because a
post gets bumped off the group's front page on the website that the post is
then ignored.
Without even scrolling down I can see 15 posts in my newsreader. Including
Troy's posts and yours. I just have to believe that many others (if not
most others) are viewing these posts in a similar manner.
