Current bid according to cgi.ebay.com is:
DM 22,222.00 (approx. $10,196.19)
This is a useful hint, if you ever see a link to a non-US eBay auction,
just replace the host with cgi.ebay.com in the URL, and you will get to
see the dollar approximation. Of course this can be done for any
country, for example, from cgi.ebay.co.uk:
DM 22,222.00 (approx. £7,123.48)
The countries eBay currently supports (based on links on the home page)
are:
US: cgi.ebay.com DM 22,222.00 (approx. $10,196.19)
Australia: cgi.ebay.com.au DM 22,222.00 (approx. AU $20,629.63)
Canada: cgi.ca.ebay.com DM 22,222.00 (approx. C $15,992.73)
France: cgi.fr.ebay.com 22.222,00 DM (environ 74.529,37 FF)
Germany: cgi.ebay.de 22.222,00 DM
Italy: cgi.ebay.it DM 22.222,00 (circa Lit. 21.999.764)
Japan: cgi.ebay.co.jp DM 22,222.00 (approx. Yen 1,254,48) (1)
UK: cgi.ebay.co.uk DM 22,222.00 (approx. £7,123.48)
Unfortunately these don't translate the description.... :-)

(1) This has been sanitized, I suspect the Japanese characters (which
don't show up as such on my screen), wouldn't show up anyway, otherwise,
all the prices have been cut and pasted from the appropriate version of
the auction page - well, I did line up the dollars for the three
countries which use them....).

| Frank, Thanks for the other eBay sites. If you use IE, you can go to the windows update site & download Japanese Language Support. Then your browser shows the characters. Quite useful for anyone into Mecha or other Japanese toys. BTW, you're off a (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.market.auction)
