There was a bone head who bid under using one inappropriate user id and out bid themself using a similar inappropriate user id. They bid it up over $12,000. Glad to see ebay is quick about these things. Julie (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Scott, You can contact safeharbor@ebay.com with situations like this. It violates two rules: 1)it's called bid shielding & 2)use of profane language. Ebay doesn't keep track of items or violations unless someone notifies them. In this case the (...) (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.auction)
