    FA : Lego —Scott Arthur
FA : Lego (URL) (25 years ago, 26-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: FA : Lego —Dan Jezek
(...) Heh, I can see why this post is being rated so low. Saying you're auctioning "Lego" on this group is about the equivalent of going to Subway and asking for a "Sub". ;-) D. (25 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: FA : Lego —Todd Lehman
(...) I gave that article a zero because the link didn't work, making the article completely useless. I don't know why the other person (as of right now there are two inputs of zero) also rated it a zero but it's probably safe to say it was for the (...)         Re: FA : Lego —Dan Jezek
(...) The link does work, but it is too long to fit on 1 line. Thus only the first line shows up as a link. If you cut and paste both of the lines (the complete link), it works. D. (25 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: FA : Lego —Tom Stangl
Or if you are lazy like me, you copy the second line, then right-click the first line, choose Open in New Window, and when it pops up, copy the second line to the end of it. This DOES work for ebay URLs, but may not for others (the ones that pop up (...) (25 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: FA : Lego —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Yep, that was the reason for my 0 too. If you're going to flog, do it correctly unless there are extremely extenuating circumstances. ++Lar (25 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: FA : Lego —Richard Franks
(...) Is there any way to stop a URL from breaking up like that from the web-interface? I've tried encapsulating them in <>, but that didn't seem to work :/ Richard (25 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: FA : Lego —Todd Lehman
(...) Well, yes. Don't break the line when pasting it in. If the URL is more than 80 contiguous non-space characters in your clipboard, and you paste it into the text area box, and your browser causes the line to split (it _shouldn't_!), then that (...)
