     I looked into setting up a Billpoint account, but it was for a select few while they were testing. They charge something like 5% as a fee. In that respect, I think that x.com and paypal will still be around, since who wants to double their ebay (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

     Zilch. There is no charge to either buyer or seller using either of them, only limits on the amount of money you can transfer using CC's. They're set up for individuals to use (not businesses), so I guess they're assuming they'll be able to offset (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

     Not a lot for us cheapskates - Ebay charges the seller 4.5% of the sale price, I believe. X and PayPal charge nothing.    As I've never actually completed a PayPal transaction, only signed up, and since I'm not using x.com, I can only go by what I've read. My look at PayPal makes it seem nice for me in that I both buy and sell, and if my sales match my purchases I'll (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.theory)
