In an auction, "reasonable" is what you define it, as long as everyone knows
ahead of time what you consider reasonable. That way, they can make the prior
decision of whether or not they want to get involved.
Being that you're not in a hurry, here's a few things you might want to
consider in figuring out what's reasonable for you and for others (btw, this
list is by no means exhaustive):
..some people are not online on the weekend - they are only online at work
..people might forget to check one day
..some people live online
..how often can you (Simon) publicly update the auction's bids?
..daily posting of auction standings to public forums can irritate some people,
especially if you post every lot's status and description
..people (sometimes often) want to know how "their" lot is doing, especially if
the set/part(s) is/are rare/expensive
Maybe you've already thought of these things, but that's my $0.02.
