As I the only one who thinks a 700% markup is a little excessive for a tub

But to answer your question, no you are not the only one who thinks that is a
little excessive - but if people are willing to pay for it....

It's what they are willing to pay but are they completely informed?  If this
seller had it listed for $80 with a message that the tub's contents had a
Bricklink value of $100 then I'd be OK with the price.

I am sure anybody willing to pay that much for it knows exaclty what it is - and
I think it would be safe to say that they are Bionicle freaks. Plus nobody is
forcing them to buy it, they are doing so at their own free will.

As far as stating the "Bricklink value" I think you would be off on a few
points. First, not sure if its fits in with the ToS to mention a outside site
such as BL. Second - to find one store with all the parts I would say is
impossible - I would even say findng 10 stores that would have all those parts
together would still be mighty hard.

And if you feel that its wrong for selling yours for that much you can always
start your auctions at one penny and let the market decide the price. I can
honestly say you will get your $20 back for it.
