If you figure that gold is selling at about $660 a troy ounce, and I’d say that
it would take at least 2 troy ounces to make a minifig and probably more; that
would put a solid gold minifig well above $1000.00, and probably closer to
$2000.00.

| Seriously Folks, I was just curious to see if anyone had received an "Exclusive Gold Chrome C3PO" in any of their Star Wars sets and if they might be selling them on eBay. So I checked. There are idoits on eBay selling them for $200.00 at the Buy It (...) (17 years ago, 16-Aug-07, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.market.appraisal)
