Hi Iain!
I'm no expert, but I think this depends on two factors.
Basically, I think the appropriate question is:
Do you want to maximize profit, or to get rid of the collection ASAP?
To maximize profit, I think (again, I am no expert), that selling individual
sets - especially if they are good, highly valued sets - would bring the
best profit. Or even, I think a good idea would be to part the sets out into
lots by themes (i.e. put all the castle sets together, all the town sets
together, etc).
However, if you want to get rid of them as soon as possible and without too
much hassle, the easiest way is definitely to sell them as one batch. But
the person who buys it from you is likely to put the sets together and
resell some (or all) of them (and making a profit, or at least getting back
some of the money he paid you).
So it depends, really, on what your goals are here.
Good luck!

Should I built up as many models as possible, and sell them individually, or would it be (...) (24 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)
