(...) I didn't realize they were so close... Even though Tacoma is well known and big (I know, I know, Bellevue Sarah :)...maybe loc.us.wa.tac should be deleted. Let's wait a week and see if anyone objects. --Todd (28 years ago, 30-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.tac)

I consider myself more Seattle than Tacoma but my house is only 1 mile from Tacoma city limits. It takes 15 minutes to get to downtown Tacoma and about 25 minutes to get to downtown Seattle. One group would probably be sufficient. Puget Sound would (...) (28 years ago, 30-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.tac)

What about one for the Puget Sound area? I think that would probably work good. Tom (...) -- Thomas's & Kristin's Home Page (URL) Member (URL) (28 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.tac)

(...) I'm not sure? I don't go to Tacoma THAT often. Even though it's just a hop, skip and jump down the road from SOuthcenter, where I DO go quite a bit. People commute from Seattle to Tacoma though, I know. I have gone to Tacoma to look at Toys R (...) (28 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.tac)

(...) I gotta question: What's the "driving time" from the farthest southwestern 'burb of Tacoma to the farthest northeastern 'burb of Seattle? More than 2 hours? (28 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.tac)

(...) I would consider Federal Way more a part of Seattle-ara than Tacoma. (HEy, wait a sec. Tacoma gets a group and Bellevue does not?!!! Bellevue's bigger, Todd...) I'm glad I did this survey of groups with messages, though. i had not noticed this (...) (28 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.tac)

(...) THERE's a conundrum. :) One possibility is to cross-post -- Newsgroups: loc.us.wa.tac,loc.us.wa.sea Or wait and see how the groups fill up with people. --Todd (28 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.tac)

I live in Federal Way, smack in the middle of Seattle and Tacoma. I am excited to meet local people that are interested in LEGO (and may have just the piece I am looking for). -- Scott S. materiel@halcyon.com (28 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.wa.tac)
