Mr. Boxer:

Please tell me you are in Utah!  Of course, you are not.  I do not have
that kind of luck!

My name is Don Leavitt, and I am an event coordinator/public relations
specialist in Salt Lake City.  I have just been hired to coordinate a
Bar Mitzvah and associated parties for the 13-year old son of a very
wealthy man.  The son loves Legos, and we are investigating the
feasibility of decorating with Lego sculptures.  I attended a party
several years ago that had Lego sculptures as a part of the decor, but I
cannot remember what the event was or who hosted it!

Do you know of anyone in Utah, specifically Salt Lake City, who has
completed Lego works that we could rent or borrow?  Do you know of any
Lego artists in Utah, specifically Salt Lake?  Are there places in the
country that rent or sell completed pieces?

The event takes place November 5 and 6, so we do not have time to
commission new works.  We are looking right now into cost and location
of completed pieces.  Once that information is gathered, then we can go
deeper into things like delivery and set up.

If you can help me out, I would really appreciate it.  I have been
researching Legos on the net for three hours now, and so far, your site
has been the most impressive.  I figured if anyone could help me you
could!

Thank you for your time.  Your creations, particularly the castle, are
absolutely stunning.

(...) It sounds like this guy wants the LEGO equivalent of ice sculpture. I'm not sure I've seen anything on that scale in the area except for the travelling LEGO contests... He could probably get some results calling LEGO CA, possibly even Legoland (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ut)
