Are there more people interested in this? Scott Member 718 (...) (26 years ago, 13-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.us.tn.nas, lugnet.loc.us.tn.mem, lugnet.org.us.dixielug, lugnet.loc.us.tn)

  Re: possible new LUG

I think Nashville is close enough for some of the Memphis AFOLs to drive over. Atlanta has been a little to far to drive. (...) Rich Thompson rich.thompson@bigfoot.com (URL) (26 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.us.tn.nas, lugnet.loc.us.tn.mem, lugnet.org.us.dixielug)

  possible new LUG

Ok, We all know DixieLUG covers a huge area, so why don't the few Nashvillians form a new LUG, such as TennLUG, or even more local, NashLUG? As I said in a previous post, we could be a part of DixieLUG, forming a sort of "Confederation" of LUGs. (...) (26 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.us.tn.nas, lugnet.org.us.dixielug)

  Re: hello?...

Personally, I think DixieLUG is trying to cover a vast area. I would prefer we have a TennLUG, possibly a subsidary of DixieLUG? Scott- Nashville Member #718 (...) (26 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.us.tn, lugnet.org.us.dixielug)

  Re: hello?...

(...) Sadly, unless DixieLUG ever came to Memphis, I couldn't see that happening for me. All things aside, It would be nice to have a Southern regional LCAD collaboration (online of course) since no one's willing to "blaze the hills" to meet in real (...)   Re: hello?...

In the past ten days, only _ONE_ response. Hmmmmm....... Let's try this again, with a slightly wider audience. Anyone interested in having a meeting before the holidays?   Re: meeting in September?...WHEN?

Since I've seen only one response so far, I thought I'd cross-post this in an attempt to get more responses. (Plz note that follow-up has been re-directed to ".org.us.dixielug".)   Re: Another local AFOL!

Hi Daniel, Welcome to the group! Your city in the garage sounds cool. I collect lots of town and train sets too. But I'm mostly into castle. I'm working on a new castle right now. I live in west Knoxville close to Sams/Walmart. Let us know who you (...) (26 years ago, 20-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.us.tn.knx)

  Another local AFOL!

Yo! Dan here from Maryville doing my first post on Lugnet! Yeehaw! Anyways, just making my presence known. I'm big into Town and some trains. I've got my city set up in my garage. It's still needing some fine tuning, but overall, it looks pretty (...) (26 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.us.tn.knx)
