Rob Farver and myself have been discussing the possibilities of a Philadelphia,
Pa area Legofest. Nothing is set yet just trying to find out the interest
level.
Im trying to get some suggestion for:
-Date for the Legofest
-Location for Legofest
-What youd want to do at the Legofest/activities
-What youd be willing to pay (if money is needed for anything, like food, hall
rental, etc.)
Between Rob and myself, weve had three locations suggested.
1) Bath Firehouse (Bath is a little northeast of Allentown, Pa)
There should be plenty of room here. There would be a small cost incurred to
use the facility.
2) Rob Farvers house (Bath, Pa)
It would be up in his attic which is not heated or cooled, so this would have
to be done in the spring or fall (and hope the day is not on an extreme end of
the temp scale)
Would probably be room for 6 - 8 people at Robs house
3) Sunday School building at my church (Worcestor, PA. Near Routes 202 and 73,
20 miles NW of Philly)
Plenty of room here. Shouldnt be any cost to use the room(s) (I think, don't
think there would be a probably getting use of a room or few)
We are also looking for other locations that would be suitable. Anyone want to
volunteer their house? If so, let me know what town its in and how many people
it can comfortably hold for a Legofest.
Rob and I arent real wild about grab bags, so there probably wouldnt be
those, unless someone has some parts theyd like to donate for grab bags.
Please send any comments or suggestions to me. If you are interested in
attending a Legofest in the area, let me know what town you live in, what
youd want to do at a Legofest, if you know a good location/facility for a
Legofest, when youd want to have one(or what weekends are not good for you)

Anyone know how to cross-post on Lugnet?
