Well, actually, the October meeting was held two days before you joined the
eGroups mailing list. There are multiple reminders about meetings once
you're on the list, however, so that shouldn't happen again.

Unfortunately, it turns out I won't be able to make it either, but I'm all
set for the meeting next weekend.
