Ken, As you can see, these "macaroni bricks" got their name due to their shape. They have been produced by TLC since the very first LEGO blocks came out in 1955. There were also half circle bricks as well (from 1955-57 only) and both half circle and (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ny.bin)

I now have enough of the Roboriders to make all of the "Comboriders". The can lid wheels make them larger than expected. I have even started to customize them.
